Grid Investment Is Accelerating Alongside the Special Fund

A consortium of international investors is in the process of acquiring a stake in the national electricity transmission operator for up to nine and a half billion euros in equity commitment, while a regional grid operator separately plans one point two billion euros in local network investment by 2033. This is currently the most consistently funded sector in the country, well suited to brokering specialist contractors or co-investment partners into the dozens of grid and generation projects now underway.
