TotalEnergies Signs Agreements to Acquire 30% Interests in Two Sarawak Gas Fields

On 2 November, TotalEnergies announced agreements to acquire a 30% operated interest in Malaysia’s Lang Lebah and B14 offshore gas fields from PETRONAS Carigali, PTTEP and KUFPEC. The integrated development is expected to unlock more than 6.5 trillion cubic feet of gas resources. The acquisition consideration was not disclosed, and completion remains subject to regulatory approvals.
